Our Mission
We are a community development corporation located in Pittsburgh’s Allentown neighborhood. We are trying to improve Allentown with better housing, public safety, community awareness and community connectedness. We are striving to make Allentown a more vibrant place for people to live, work, and play.
The Allentown CDC’s goal is to revive the Allentown community by enhancing the business district and increasing the number of volunteers from the neighborhood who are involved with community revitalization efforts.
By gaining volunteers for the Neighborhood Block Watch and other events as well as having new members join the CDC, Allentown can build itself a stronger sustainable, grassroots system that will continue to effect change in the neighborhood for years to come.
